Humanity’s destiny and our Prophetic call is a symbiotic union in which the revelation of the Historical Jesus exposes the larger reality of the Cosmic Christ.  To follow God the Holy Spirit, as His prophet, is to learn, and to gain more knowledge of what our ultimate perfection is.  We can become wiser of our ultimate perfection by discovering and coming to know the process by which God the Holy Spirit reveals Truth and how this revelation is taking place within and without each of us.

Promise to Prophet explores the qualities of being a Prophet in relation to the Promise of God.  This program offers a means of coming to know the process of God’s intention and the manner of His expression.  (The process of God’s intention is nothing less than “The Human Adventure”.)  At the end of this experience the desire would be that the participants become aware and accept the call of God the Holy Spirit to become a Prophet for Jesus, the Christ.  And, that in accepting this call there will be a deeper connection between the Jesus of History and Christ of the Cosmos.

I. Overview/Introduction

1.  DVD presentation which will last about three minutes in which participants are taken on a meditative experience. 

II. Profession to the Order of Prophet  

1.  The participants will be presented with a brief description of the Historical Jesus, followed by a brief description of the Cosmic Christ.

        a.)  Historical Jesus (H.J.)– What we know of Him. 

     --Who is Jesus.

     --What the Catholic    

        Church  says of Him.   

     --What is His message

        (redemption into         

        God’s grace).                                

     --Any other thoughts.

        b.)  Cosmic Christ (C.C.)  -- The “Mover” (Aquinas)

      of Creation.

                                                   --Consciousness as the

      energy of  movement  

      from praise (lesser  

      consciousness) to

      adoration       (reflective

      consciousness).                            --Consciousness revealed

      as the tension  between

      good and evil.       

   --Any other thoughts.

2.  The Rite of Profession to the Order of Prophet

   a.)  To Learn --- To Proclaim --- To Witness

        b.)  Waters of Remembrance     

        c.)  Profession of the Prophet     

        d.)  Song of Compliance             

III.  Ordination to the Order of Prophet (Challenge to the Call/Profession of the Spirit)

1.  Scripture passages viewed from the Historical and Cosmic positions.  The witness of these two positions will help to clarify the call of God the Holy Spirit to each participant.  Through an advanced understanding of different passages the Call takes on a ever expanded awareness of what we must Witness too. 

a.)  Wedding feast at Cana    

        b.)  Transfiguration of Jesus  

        c.)  The Rich Official (Luke 18:18-30) 

        d.)  Agony in the Garden       

        e.)  Any other passages          

2.  The Rite of Ordination to the Order of Prophet

        a.)  To Learn --- To Proclaim --- To Witness 

        b.)  Waters of Remembrance     

        c.)  Fire of Acceptance                 

        d.)  Cross of Love                       

        e.)  Vow of the Prophet               

        f.)  The Going Out                       

IV.  End View/Conclusion

1.  DVD presentation which will last about five minutes in which participants are taken on a meditative experience.  This experience will hopefully bring a good closure to the challenge and Call of the day.
