JESUS

In Christian belief systems, this is the person who came to fulfill a Promise made by the First Person of the Holy Trinity (God the Father).  The Promise is that God the Father would send His Son to redeem humanity because they had committed a great sin through the actions of Adam and Eve.  The Christian belief system holds that (in most of the different Faiths) this Second Person of the Trinity (Jesus) became human in all things but evil.  Jesus came to Earth and lived some two thousand years ago and this is how we mark the passage of time, from the event of His life.

CHRIST

Is a reference to Jesus the Christ has the movement toward which all of existence (evolution) is directed, for Teilhard this would be Point Omega.  This concept is to SEE that the "God of our Fathers" is also and, more importantly, the God of all and is connected to our spirit, space, time, material continuum through the action of free will whereby all of the cosmos is allowed to grow and express itself as it desires.

In the Book Of Life the most read and influential book is the Bible.  The focus here is to unite the Historical Jesus and God as described in this book with the Cosmic Christ.
