Hope In Jesus

Hope is coming to the realization that Jesus is always next to me.

A "WOW!" Moment -- A story of Hope

There are so many times throughout my life; most I cannot remember; many I would witness to directly one on one; the rest I share daily with anyone who will listen. The most vivid awareness came on my way home from work while meditating on my class for the following night.

I was frustrated that I could not spend more time on sharing the message of Jesus. It was, like, all of a sudden working a job, to earn an income, so that I could devote more time to active ministry was not happening. It seemed that my goal of being able to move into a more active ministry was as far away as it had been twenty years ago. I was really feeling very sad for myself. This sadness was clearly expressing itself in the form of irritation, evident to others around my car, for the long red light.

Suddenly, I noticed that a great clam and peace came over me. I heard this inner voice say; "It's ok you are doing well." I turned abruptly to the passenger seat. Jesus, was there, sitting next to me. The light turned green. As I began driving He told me that He had been taking care of me. He said that I always had the financial support to do what He wanted of me at the time and that I was becoming more active for Him. I still had to learn to share more and to strive more for others, so that their families may be well.

A car passed me, my window was open and I felt this rush of air. It was so cool and relaxing in the hot car, heated from the day's sunny torture. I felt peaceful and calm. I realized that at this moment in my life I was doing what Jesus wanted. I felt refreshed, eager to get home and finish class preparation and attend a workshop here at St. Ann.

It is great having Jesus as a passenger.
