Theology Creation-Evolution is the theory of energy movement which drives both the spiritual and cosmic continuums. The energy of these continuums are between, in and around, and connected to other continuums or existence. This synthesis allows for the understanding of a “Creator” and also the acceptance or growth through stages by development from one to another. It is the energy of these continuums, within the human framework, which makes up all that humanity comes into contact with.
With this definition, the road to an enhanced understanding of existence is before us. The unity of science and religion, in equal balance in which there is a “give and take” of compassion (constant striving to understand the other position, using the tools that each area brings into the examination), can reveal the truest meaning for human existence and the growth of human consciousness.
Christian religion sees the Spirit as the
source of all that is giving; the challenge to do the work Jesus requires of His
Church. The scientist seeks to see the Energy of the cosmos in the search for
unity, as expression of a single force. Both the Christian and the Scientist
lay claim to a guiding principle: Spirit and Energy gives life and existence to
the milieu in which there is human growth. The Christian sees this milieu in
the Historical Jesus. The Scientist sees this milieu in the evolution of the
human consciousness, the Cosmic Christ. |
